How do classes with kits work?

When you book a class with a kit, we send participants all of the ingredients or supplies that they need.

**Address collection:** Once payment is received, our team will send you an address collection form and invite text to relay to your team. 📄

**Shipment tracking:** We’ll also provide a master tracking sheet which you can use to track submissions as well as tracking information once kits have shipped. ✅

Can I request a specific host?

Accepted Answer

We are unable to guarantee certain hosts for the Virtual Terrarium Workshop, as their booking is dependent on availability. Please drop a note in the 'special requests' section when booking, and we'll do our best to make it happen. Either way, we promise you'll have a wonderful experience with any of our vetted hosts!

Question 3

Will the instructor be able to help facilitate casual or "fun" conversation for us to get to know each other better?

Our online Terrarium Workshop is crafted with team bonding in mind. We strive to create an open-ended event format, in which participants are highly encouraged to interact with the instructor and each other throughout the event!

If your team would like to stay on and mingle after the terrarium class, please note this in our 'special requests' section. We'll convey this information to the instructor, who will transfer host rights over to you at the end.

What is included in the kit?

You can find information under each 'choose a kit' description. Please note that kit contents may differ from the pictures displayed here as we may work with several vendors to create your handcrafted kits. If you need more info, please reach out to event support or chat with us directly on the website for more details.

Question 5

What kind of care do air plants require?

Accepted Answer

Air plants require minimal care. Great for beginners or non-green thumbers! Plant care instructions will come with your kit.

Question 6

What should I do when my plants arrive?

Accepted Answer

Terrarium kits will be labeled as fragile and containing a live plant. Please **unpack the kit as soon as you receive it** and place the plant in bright, natural light! ☀️

Please note that the plants are wrapped in paper and packaged carefully inside the bowl within your kit, and therefore may be easy to miss.

Can this event be recorded? Can a photo be taken?

Accepted Answer

📸 **Photos / screenshots:** Our hosts always do their best to catch a screenshot at the end of your event. If you would like a photo, feel free to remind your host at the start of your event.

📹 **Video recordings:** This event can be recorded. To ensure a recording is taken, **please request one from your host at the start of your event** - they’re happy to accommodate when asked!

Question 8

Can this experience be shortened?

Accepted Answer

The terrarium making class can be shortened to 30 or 45 minutes, just make sure to let us know in the special requests section.

For the most engaging and interactive experience, we recommend booking for the full 60 minutes. Please note that we cannot accommodate any price adjustments for a shorter duration.

When is the deadline to collect addresses?

Accepted Answer

The deadline to collect addresses will be EOD **13 business days** from your event date. If you're looking to have an event sooner than 13 business days, your deadline will be EOD **10 business days** and will require rush processing. The cost of rush processing can be found under the shipping upgrades section of the experience page.

**Oct - Dec:** During the busier holiday season, we cannot accommodate orders on a shorter timeframe.
