How do classes with kits work?

When you book a class with a kit, we send participants all of the ingredients or supplies that they need.

**Address collection:** Once payment is received, our team will send you an address collection form and invite text to relay to your team. 📄

**Shipment tracking:** We’ll also provide a master tracking sheet which you can use to track submissions as well as tracking information once kits have shipped. ✅

Can I request a specific host?

We are unable to guarantee certain hosts for the Pottery Painting Class, as their booking is dependent on availability. Please drop a note in the 'special requests' section when booking, and we'll do our best to make it happen. Either way, we promise you'll have a wonderful experience with any of our vetted hosts!

What is included in the kit?

You can find information about kit contents in the 'includes' section towards the top of the page. Please note that kit contents may differ from the pictures displayed here as we may work with several vendors to create your handcrafted kits. If you need more info, please reach out to event support or chat with us directly on the website for more details.

Do I need experience to participate?

Accepted Answer

The Pottery Painting Class is for all experience levels. Our instructor will guide you through the basics — no prior painting or art experience is required!

Is this experience appropriate for children?

Accepted Answer

Of course! Anyone, even a child, can be a master painter. 🎨

Paints are safe and non-toxic but should be kept away from toddlers. If children are present, please ensure an adult is there to accompany them.

Question 6

How messy are the paints? Are they hard to wash out?

Accepted Answer

Painting can definitely get a little messy! If removed immediately, acrylic paint is easily washable with soap and water, but once dry, it becomes more difficult to remove. To avoid stains, we definitely recommend you wear a smock or other clothes you can get a little dirty in.

Are mugs microwave or dishwasher safe?

Painted mugs are microwave safe, but we recommend hand washing only.

Will my pot come with plants and soil?

Accepted Answer

Our planter option only comes with a pot in addition to painting materials. You'll have to provide the plants and soil yourself.

Question 9

Can I choose a custom theme for my mug or pot?

Accepted Answer

Mugs and pots can only be painted with abstract designs because of their size. The instructor will teach you how to paint the designs, and you can make it your own!

Question 10

Can this experience be shortened?

Accepted Answer

The Pottery Painting Class can be shortened to 45 minutes, just make sure to let us know in the special requests section.

For the most engaging and interactive experience, we recommend booking for the full 60 minutes. Please note that we cannot accommodate any price adjustments for a shorter duration.

Question 11

When is the deadline to collect addresses?

Accepted Answer

The deadline to collect addresses will be EOD **13 business days** from your event date. If you're looking to have an event sooner than 13 business days, your deadline will be EOD **10 business days** and will require rush processing. The cost of rush processing can be found under the shipping upgrades section of the experience page.

**Oct - Dec:** During the busier holiday season, we cannot accommodate orders on a shorter timeframe.

Do you ship internationally?

At this time, we only offer shipping to the US & Canada for kits. 🇺🇸 🇨🇦 Shipping is free for this experience.
