Who is the host for this experience?

Accepted Answer

This experience is created and led by passionate individuals from the LGBTQIA+ community who wanted to bring their cultural and historical knowledge to audiences across all demographics. Because we work with a handful of vendors, we will not be able to confirm the specific vendor until after booking.

Can I request a specific host?

Accepted Answer

We are unable to guarantee certain hosts for our Pride Jeopardy inspired game, as their booking is dependent on availability. However, your host is guaranteed to be a member of the LGBTQIA+ community or an ally who helped make this experience possible.

I've played this game before. Can I play again?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We offer two game boards for this experience to choose from. If you've played a specific game board before, please select the other one for a new experience. What is the level of difficulty for this game?

Difficulty is subjective! We try to make all of our games fun but the right amount of challenging. Because it is focused on a specific topic, the questions for our Pride Jeopardy inspired game may be slightly more challenging than our classic Jeoparty game, but players will still be able to make educated guesses. That being said, it is a great team building experience.

Is this game work appropriate and international friendly?

Our games are designed with corporate teams in mind and, based on customer input, we consider this game to be international-friendly! However, we are a U.S.-based team and some questions may require basic knowledge of U.S. pop culture.

Please make sure to enter your group details and any other relevant info in the ‘context for your host’ section of your event briefing after booking. We can’t guarantee content adjustments, but we gladly welcome feedback.

What if my headcount changes?

Accepted Answer

We recommend booking with your minimum expected headcount and increasing up to 48 hours before the event date as we don't refund for unused seats. Keep in mind when increasing, the max headcount for this event is 30 attendees.

Can I see the list of questions and answers beforehand?

As company policy, we do not provide LGBTQIA+ History & Culture Jeoparty game content for approval ahead of time (and to prevent spoilers!) but rest assured that our games team creates and vets all of the questions for our hosted game experiences. 💪

How many rounds are there?

Our Jeoparty is one full board with different LGBTQIA+ topics and a final Jeoparty question.

Question 9

How many people are on a team?

Teams are created based on headcount! Groups will be split into teams of 3-6 players on each team.

Question 10

Can we create team names?

Accepted Answer

If selecting 'randomized' for your 'team assignment', your Jeoparty host will split you randomly into teams by sending you to breakout rooms. There you will meet your team and come up with a team name before returning to the main room for gameplay. For 'choose your teams,' we provide a sign-up sheet to fill out your players' names and team name ahead of time.

What if fewer people show up than planned for?

If you would like a refund for participants who did not attend, please reach out to our support team (support@withconfetti.com) within 2 business days after your event to confirm your booking meets the criteria and we’ll refund you with Confetti Credits.

Can this experience be shortened?

We are unable to shorten Jeoparty at this time. Our Pride Jeopardy inspired game lasts around 45 mins, but there may be some fluctuations based on introductions, group size, and group dynamics. Our hosts try to keep gameplay as close to schedule as possible.

How many winners are there? Can we award prizes?

Prizes are **not** included or required. You're welcome to source your own prizes,  just drop us a note in the 'special requests' section **ahead of time**. There will be one winning team with between 3-6 players depending on final headcount.

Can this event be recorded? Can a photo be taken?

📸 **Photos / screenshots:** Our hosts always do their best to catch a screenshot at the end of your event. If you would like a photo, feel free to remind your host at the start of your event.

📹 **Video recordings:** This event can be recorded. To ensure a recording is taken, **please request one from your host at the start of your event** - they’re happy to accommodate when asked!
