How does Field Day work?

Everyone will start off in the main room, where your head Coach host will explain the different rooms and options. This host will be available throughout to help answer any questions! The group fitness will take place in the main room for the duration of the event. There are several breakout rooms where participants can "choose their own adventure" and move freely throughout. These rooms include Tug-O-Words, Trivia Kickball, Songwriting Lab, Coworker Clash, and conversation rooms for participants to chat in.

Can I request a specific host?

We are unable to guarantee certain hosts for Field Day, as their booking is dependent on availability. Please drop a note in the 'special requests' section when booking, and we'll do our best to make it happen. Either way, we promise you'll have a wonderful experience with any of our vetted hosts!

Question 3

Is this experience international friendly?

Accepted Answer

Yes! We plan for international teams frequently, though some questions featured in the games do require a basic knowledge of US-pop culture.

Is there a set time frame for each activity or do I decide?

Accepted Answer

The fun thing about Field Day is that participants can freely move in between rooms to create their own adventure! With the Zoom breakout room feature, participants can choose their own activities and switch it up whenever they like. At the end of the event, everyone will come back together for one final game of Zoom Tag.

Will participants run into any issues if they join late?

Accepted Answer

For those who arrive late, we have our head Coach as well as some other friendly Confetti faces "floating" around in the background who are available to answer any questions. Since there will be hosts leading the games in the breakout room, they'll be prepared to integrate anyone who arrives late and make sure they're up to speed to fully participate!

Once you're in the Zoom call, our customers have found the experience to be self-explanatory and super easy to navigate, which is one of the many reasons for its popularity!

Can we set up teams for this event?

Accepted Answer

Due to the free-flowing nature of Field Day, teams cannot be arranged. Some games are played as individuals, and any games that utilize teams will randomize teams based on the players interested in playing at that time.

Can we use something other than Zoom?

Accepted Answer

Due to the technical capabilities needed for Field Day, we can only use Zoom.

Are there winners or prizes for the games?

Accepted Answer

Confetti will provide gift card prizes for the winners of Tug-O-Words, and charity donations for Trivia Kickball!

Can this event be recorded? Can a photo be taken?

Accepted Answer

📸 **Photos / screenshots:** Our hosts would be happy to take a picture for your team! If you would like a photo, please note this in the 'special requests' section when booking. You will receive your photo within 1 business day after your event.

📹 **Video recordings:** Due to the use of breakout rooms, we are **not** able to record this event. Thanks for your understanding!

Can we stay on the Zoom after the event?

Accepted Answer

Yes! If you’d like to keep the fun going after your event, you may utilize the Zoom for an additional hour. Please note this in your ‘special requests’.

Question 11

Can this experience be shortened?

Accepted Answer

Field Day can be shortened to 1 hour, just make sure to select your preferred duration option.

For the most engaging and interactive experience, we recommend booking for the full 2 hours. Please note that we cannot accommodate any price adjustments for a shorter duration. In addition, your team may not have enough time to participate in all of the activities.

Why can’t this experience be done in a hybrid setting?

Our **remote-only** experiences are designed to be played by participants on individual devices in separate spaces. Each participant will need their own device to utilize features necessary to gameplay such as breakout rooms, the chat box, turning individual cameras on and off, etc.

If participants are not fully remote for this experience, your host will have to pivot to our **fun and interactive** Speed Puzzler game since we will not be able to run the event as intended. Let the games begin
