What is Black power?
Jeoparty the trivia format on its head by presenting answers and asking players to give the QUESTION that matches it. For example, if the answer presented is: “1976 is the year this holiday was officially recognized by a U.S. President," the player would respond with, “What is Black History Month?”
Black History & Culture topics include:
- African American Inventors & Innovators
- Historical Events
- Movies, Music and TV... and more!
An engaging host will guide participants through a fun and interactive Black history game show, and screenshare the Jeoparty board with everyone in a video chat. Using a digital buzzer, players buzz in to give answers and score points for their team, gaining points for correct answers in this fast-paced game.
The game culminates in a Final Question wager which can lead to a surprise twist!
For each correct answer, players can attribute their points to one of three Black-led charities:
- United Negro College Fund: UNCF envisions a nation where all Americans have equal access to a college education that prepares them for rich intellectual lives, competitive and fulfilling careers, engaged citizenship and service to our nation.
- Jackie Robinson Foundation: Administers one of the nation’s premier scholarship and leadership development programs for talented college students.
- RISE: Educates and empowers the sports community to eliminate racial discrimination, champion social justice and improve race relations.
The charity with the most points will receive a donation in your company's name, courtesy of Confetti!

🕹️ Difficulty Level: Educational Trivia! Questions about history and culture with an emphasis on bringing to light new information while still getting the chance to celebrate pre-existing knowledge. May require basic knowledge of U.S. pop culture. Fun, educational, and lightly competitive.
⚙️ Tech Level: Some tech experience recommended.
👨👩👧👦 Participants: Broken up into teams of up to 6 players. Everyone plays in the same room.

Thank you for creating this Black History and Culture Jeoparty experience for BHM! It was just what our Black community needed to have some joy and meet some of our remote colleagues.
Our host's energy is what made our event! He brought the facts and the fun. I am so thankful to him for making our BHM virtual get together so much fun. He was amazing and our entire team loved him.
