Can I request a specific host?

We are unable to guarantee certain hosts for Baby Shower Coworker Clash, as their booking is dependent on availability. Please drop a note in the 'special requests' section when booking, and we'll do our best to make it happen. Either way, we promise you'll have a wonderful experience with any of our vetted hosts!

Question 2

How does this experience change when it's run as a hybrid event?

Accepted Answer

**Structure of the game:** This experience runs the same in both a virtual and hybrid setting! Your host will simply call on individuals to share an answer when it's their turn, rotating between teams throughout the event. To encourage individual participation, answers will not be discussed amongst teammates!

**Teams:** 'Choose Your Teams' must be selected as your team assignment for the hybrid format! We strongly recommend in-person players be all on the same team, as we have found this helps with game flow. However, you can set-up teams however you’d like! Our hosts do their best to make sure virtual players feel just “as part of the action” as in-person players.

**Tech setup:** For in-office participants, we recommend using a shared projector screen or TV setup, so at least one computer is needed to connect to the Zoom! Your host needs to be able to hear the answers of in-office participants.

The final lightning round will be a buzz-in round so we recommend that all participants have a phone handy to access the buzzer. The buzzer can be accessed via personal computer as well.

What is the level of difficulty for this game?

Difficulty is subjective! We try to make all of our games fun but the right amount of challenging. Please chat with us below to ensure you’ve chosen the right experience for your team.

Is this game work appropriate and international friendly?

Our games are designed with corporate teams in mind and, based on customer input, we consider Baby Shower Coworker Clash to be international-friendly! However, we are a U.S.-based team and some questions may require basic knowledge of U.S. pop culture.

Please make sure to enter your group details and any other relevant info in the ‘context for your host’ section of your event briefing after booking. We can’t guarantee content adjustments, but we gladly welcome feedback.

As company policy, we do not provide Baby Shower Coworker Clash game content for approval ahead of time (and to prevent spoilers!) but rest assured that our games team creates and vets all of the questions for our hosted game experiences. 💪

Can we create team names?

Accepted Answer

If selecting 'randomized' for your team assignment, your Baby Shower Coworker Clash host will split you randomly into teams by sending you to breakout rooms. You will meet your team there and come up with a team name before returning to the main room for gameplay. For the 'choose your teams' option, we provide a sign-up sheet to fill out your players' names and team name ahead of time.

How many people are on a team?

Teams are based on headcount! A headcount of 24 or fewer will have 2 teams of up to 12 players each. A headcount of 25-40 will have 4 teams of up to 10 players each.

How does the game work with 4 teams?

Accepted Answer

During the main round of the game, teams will alternate between playing and watching other teams compete. Each team will typically play 2-3 rounds.

All 4 teams will compete in the final lightning round, where they’ll want to be the first to buzz in and give a correct response. At the end of your event, the team with the most points wins!

What if fewer people show up than planned for?

If you would like a refund for participants who did not attend, please reach out to our support team (support@withconfetti.com) within 2 business days after your event to confirm your booking meets the criteria and we’ll refund you with Confetti Credits.

What if my team has a hard stop time?

Our Baby Shower Coworker Clash experience lasts around 60 min, but there may be some fluctuations based on introductions, group size, and group dynamics. Our hosts try to keep gameplay as close to schedule as possible. Please let us know if you have a hard stop and we can see if we can accommodate.

How many winners are there? Can we award prizes?

Prizes are **not** included or required. You're welcome to source your own prizes, just keep us posted in 'special requests' so our hosts can announce it. There will be one winning team with between 6-12 players depending on final headcount.

Can this event be recorded? Can a photo be taken?

📸 **Photos / screenshots:** Our hosts always do their best to catch a screenshot at the end of your event. If you would like a photo, feel free to remind your host at the start of your event.

📹 **Video recordings:** This event can be recorded. To ensure a recording is taken, **please request one from your host at the start of your event** - they’re happy to accommodate when asked!
