🛡️Quality You Can Trust: Our Expert Vetting Process
As a managed marketplace where about half of our experiences are made end-to-end in house, we understand that the quality of our vendors is the bread and butter of our core offering. We choose only the best vendors who are at the top of their field of expertise to supply the products and services offered on our platform.
Our dedicated Vendor Operations Managers carefully source and vet each vendor before on-boarding them, so that you don’t have to.
👀 What We Look For
Across all vendors and hosts, we evaluate:
Customer service & human interaction skills: Professionalism, responsiveness, and the ability to create a welcoming environment.
Quality of product or experience: Premium materials, polished content, and smooth execution.
Proven experience & credibility: Demonstrated expertise and real-world track record.
Coachability & willingness to improve: Openness to feedback, iteration, and collaboration.
📦 Kit Vendor Vetting
All external vendors - including those providing physical kits - go through multiple layers of review.
1. Legal & Compliance Screening
Every potential vendor undergoes compliance checks, including:
OFAC sanctions list verification to confirm the vendor or individual does not appear on applicable sanctions lists
Location compliance verification to ensure vendors operate in countries aligned with data protection and internet security best practices
While these checks rarely surface issues, they are a required safeguard.
2. Due Diligence & Credibility Review
We begin with comprehensive due diligence:
Reviewing websites and public-facing materials
Assessing brand credibility and experience
Evaluating existing client feedback and reputation
3. Product & Experience Testing
We review performance materials and demo the experience ourselves prior to promoting the experience. For kit vendors, we require a physical sample kit. Our team:
Tests functionality and usability
Evaluates product quality
Reviews packaging and presentation
Confirms the kit performs as intended for a Confetti event setting
If it doesn’t meet our standards, it doesn’t immediately move forward. We will work with the vendor to adjust the kit as we see fit or decide we no longer want to move forward with the kit.
4. Initial Event Review
As a final step, we validate kit performance and feedback through the first live client event conducted via Confetti.
To move forward, the vendor must receive positive feedback, deliver the product to our standards of quality, and complete an overall successful experience. We will also work with the vendor to adjust content based on feedback or experience.
🎤 Confetti Originals & Partner Host Vetting
Confetti Originals are built in-house, and they are led by carefully selected professional hosts. These hosts are typically performers, actors, public speakers, or experienced facilitators. Because they represent the Confetti brand directly, the vetting process is especially important.
1. Legal & Compliance Screening
Every potential host undergoes compliance checks, including:
OFAC sanctions list verification to confirm the vendor or individual does not appear on applicable sanctions lists
Location compliance verification to ensure vendors operate in countries aligned with data protection and internet security best practices
While these checks rarely surface issues, they are a required safeguard.
2. Performance & Presence Evaluation
We assess:
Public speaking or performance background
Acting, presenting, or live facilitation experience
Ability to command a (virtual) room with confidence and warmth
Engagement style and adaptability
We’re not just looking for someone who can talk. We’re looking for someone who can lead!
3. Technical Competency Review
Running a seamless experience requires more than charisma. Hosts must:
Demonstrate comfort with virtual platforms
Meet technical setup requirements
Navigate technical tools or accompanying kits confidently
Handle essential functions independently (recording, screen sharing, troubleshooting basics)
4. Structured Onboarding & SLAs
Approved hosts complete detailed onboarding covering:
Customer satisfaction standards
Service-level expectations
Process requirements
Brand alignment
5. Shadowing & Final Sign-Off
Every new host is shadowed during their first live experiences. This includes:
Real-time observation
Follow-up feedback conversations
Additional shadowing sessions if needed
Shadowing acts as the final confirmation that a host can independently deliver a Confetti experience at our expected level.
🔍 Ongoing Monitoring & Performance Standards
Approval is not permanent by default. We continuously monitor:
Client feedback
Review data
Operational performance
Responsiveness and reliability
Partners and hosts are expected to maintain the same standard that earned them acceptance.
🌟A Standard We Stand Behind
This layered vetting process - across vendors, kit providers, and Confetti Originals hosts - has helped us maintain a 98% positive review rate across thousands of events delivered.
Because at Confetti, every experience carries our name.
And that means the bar stays high.
