๐ฆ Standard & Rushed Orders for Shipped Kits
When youโre planning a Confetti event that includes shipped kits, timing is everything! To make sure everyone gets their package in time, we work with two types of order deadlines: Standard Orders and, when available, Rushed Orders.
โฐ Deadlines
Standard Order Deadline
This is the first and main deadline for collecting participant addresses.
It ensures our vendors have enough time to source materials, pack kits, and ship them out so they arrive at least 3 days before your event.
Rushed Order Deadline (if available)
Most experiences offer an extension on address collection called a Rushed Order that you can opt into at any point prior to the Rushed Order's deadline (which is 10 business days prior to your event).
When your event is opted into a Rushed Order, the deadline is extended, giving your team more time to submit addresses for participants who may have missed the first round.
๐ Key Differences Between Standard & Rushed Orders
Standard Orders
Kits are guaranteed to arrive on time for your event.
These shipments are monitored closely, and Confetti will arrange replacements if delays occur.
Rushed Orders
Kits are still processed and shipped, but on-time delivery is not guaranteed.
While vendors and shipping carriers expedite these packages, any delays in shipping will not be covered by Shipping Insurance, meaning Confetti will not proactively address shipping delays if a package is not going to arrive on time.
This makes them a great option for late sign-ups, but itโs best to let participants know their kits may arrive closer to, or sometimes even after, the event date.
Rushed Orders come at an extra cost of Rushed Processing, which helps vendors quickly source materials, pack kits, and expedite a shipment. Rushed Processing fees vary per experience, and are typically between $30 to $50 per kit.
We are unable to accommodate any new additions once the Rushed Order deadline passes.
๐ก๏ธ Insurance & Coverage
Standard Order kits are fully covered by Confetti's Shipping Insurance. Standard Order kits are not fully covered - see our Shipping Insurance page for more information!
All Kits: If a kit arrives damaged, spoiled, or is missing items, we will work to replace it entirely or just the missing items - either by reshipping from the original vendor, providing a local backup, or sourcing a similar kit from an alternative supplier.
๐ How to Request a Rushed Order
If you missed the Standard Order deadline and your experience supports Rushed Orders, you can request one:
Click the chat widget on any experience page to let our team know youโd like to opt into a Rushed Order.
Confetti will update your booking accordingly, so long as your experience allows for a Rushed Order and the deadline has not passed.
Youโll receive confirmation by email with the new submission deadline and your updated form.
๐ Keep in mind: Not all experiences offer Rushed Orders - see below the list of exclusions. If yours does not, you may still be able to add late participants as BYO (Bring Your Own) attendees, depending on the event.

Plan Ahead: Encourage your team to submit addresses early to avoid last-minute stress.
Communicate Clearly: Let participants in a Rushed Order know that delivery by the event date is not guaranteed.
